1) Call Meeting to Order (Tom C.)

2) Attendance and verification of quorum, Leesa S, Tom C, Amanda M, Elizabeth T

            Guests include: Mike Thomas (homeowner)

3) Approval of Minutes from February Board Meeting - approved

4) Voting Report; ratify decisions/votes taken since last meeting; all ratified

5) Financial Review February statement:

  • Late Dues: two are three months behind including March
  • Expenses: no unusual expenditures, all are budgeted;
  • Total Checking account balance: $53,428.93
  • Total Reserve balance: $69,118.57

6) Old Business

  • Issue 14298: Paint Change - vote passed
  • Issue 14291: Possibly stolen item thrown in lake – The item has been placed on the Spring Cleanup list to be removed in May
  • Issue 11342: Illegal Activity at Dead End Safety - City of Covington is following up with RFA on Fire Access Gate/Bollards placed on 279th and cost of project.  In Work - Tom C to follow up with Bob Lindskov this week 3/7
  • Issue #13614 Removal of Trees in the park area.  Tom C investigating use of goats to rid area of Blackberry bushes
  • Status of Easter Egg Hunt: Amanda M checking in with Carol M on status of volunteers and logistics for the event.  Revise newsletter: “Hopping Forward” barring any COVID restrictions, Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 16th

7) New Business

  • Locked Mailboxes: there are six no-lock mailboxes in the neighborhood.  A letter will be sent to homeowners with detail on replacing current mailbox with a Locked Mailbox to provide more security
  • Stocking lakes in the future: the cost of stocking the lakes was not in the budget for this year.  The Board has added it to the budget session for 2023

·        Neighborhood garage sale:  Looking to coordinate with Winterwood Estate garage sale scheduled for first part of June

·        Spring cleanup: tentative schedule middle of May.  George T has the list of items/areas that need to be addressed
