Lake Winterwood Current Approved Roofing Materials as of 2016
The current materials that are being approved are:
- GAF - Grand Canyon
- CertainTeed Presidential Shake TL * most popular
- Cedar shake shingles (please submit type of cedar shake, thickness of material).
Upon picking a type please submit a color, picture preferred, with your request.
Most homeowners have chosen not to replace with cedar shake but the Presidential TL or like product.
All sheds, additions to a home need to have the same roofing material. Please note when getting bids.
If you decide upon another type of roofing material, we ask that you submit a detailed information sheet with your request. The current standing Board of Directors will have 30 days to either approve or not approve the request.
At this time if you are doing the standard roof request (above currently approved materials) and have all info on the request, we can typically approve within a week or two either by Email or hand delivered to a current board member.
Two ways to access the Request for Improvement form: the Nextdoor website, or contact a board member and they can send one to you. Please make 2 copies of your request, or email a copy to any current board member.
