6)    Property Manager’s Report

a.     Aardvark placed new woodchips/mulch at various location within the community in February (Issue 17852).

b.     Community finances have been reconciled for the new year.

c.     Community taxes have been prepared & filed.

 

7)    Old Business

a.     Open Issues that require board approval

                                  i.    Nothing to Report

b.    CC&R Amendment Progress

                                 i.    Homeowner lead petition gathered 37 signatures in favor of amending the current CC&Rs (Completed Feb 28, 2023).

                                ii.    The Board will consider revisions to Article XII Section 8 – Garbage and Refuse and Article XII Section 20 – Gardens, Play Equipment, Sport Courts, Pools, Spas and Basketball Standards. 

                               iii.    The Board will review proposed language request legal review prior to calling for a vote of homeowners.

                               iv.    Enforcement of basketball hoop and garbage cans standards will remain on hold through June 2023 pending the outcome of the official vote from homeowners.

c.    Dead/Dying Tree replacements

                                 i.    Quote for tree replacements came back extremely high.  Issue to be postponed until June in conjunction with the communities’ reserve study.    

d.    Board Communications:

                                 i.    Matt to ascertain if board can take control of current Facebook page in lieu of having multiple/competing platforms.  To remain in Board control in immediate future if agreeable by current page owner.

e.    Spring Newsletter:

                                 i.    HOA Property Manager (Edyie) to mail Spring “Reminder” Postcards this week.

f.     2023 Social Activities/Calendar

                                 i.    Matt to review/develop a community event calendar.

                                ii.    Potential events including Halloween & Christmas decorations, National Night Out (august), International Picnic (2nd Annual), Garage Sale, Movie Night, Etc. 

 

8)   New business 

a.    New Open Issues:

                                 i.    Missing Street Light at the corner of 301st & 60th.

1.    Doug to upload to SeeClickFix for City of Auburn response.

                                ii.    Holiday Decoration

1.    Holiday decoration still up on one house.

b.    Newsletter:

                                  i.    Spring Newsletter planned for June – Board to draft in coming months.
