3)   Reading & Approval of Minutes from prior BOD Meeting

a.     Dec 16, 2022 - Approved (Unanimous)

 

4)    Ratification of voting report for “in between meeting” votes

a.     Nothing to Report

 

5)    Reports of Officers: President, Vice Presidents, and Treasurer and any Committee leads

a.     Treasurers Report: 

                                  i.    Snapshot of operating budget

                                 ii.    Balances for December & January to be reconciled in coming weeks

                                iii.    Outstanding Dues

6)    Property Manager’s Report

a.     Received revised quote from Aardvark for new woodchips/mulch at various location within the community (Issue 17852).

                                  i.    Board elected to proceed with only the playground and mulch beds at entrance to the neighborhood.

                                 ii.    Tentatively scheduled for February 2023

 

7)    Old Business

a.     Open Issues that require board approval

                                 i.    Inspections performed once/month through May/April depending on weather.

c.    Petition and Enforcement of CC&R’s

                                 i.    Enforcement of basketball hoop and garbage cans standards will remain on hold though Feb 28th, 2023 pending the below mentioned petition results (See new Business).

d.    Review of missing trees from Plan Map

                                 i.    Tabled to next meeting

                                ii.    Angela to request quotes for new trees

 

8)   New business 

a.    CC&R Amendment Petition (Homeowner Lead)

                                 i.    Homeowners to begin a petition to garner interest in changing CC&Rs regarding basketball hoops & garbage cans.  Petition is not sponsored by the HOA; however, if enough interest if found in favor of amending the current CC&Rs and homeowners are willing to cover the legal fees, the board will proceed according.  Petition to be compelled by Feb 28, 2023.

b.    Board Communications:

                                 i.    Discussed options for HOA sponsored Facebook or alternative Social Media Platform.

                                ii.    Current Facebook page is managed by homeowners

                               iii.    Matt to ascertain if board can take control of current Facebook page in lieu of having multiple/competing platforms.  To remain in Board control in immediate future if agreeable by current page owner.

c.    Newsletter:

                                 i.    Spring Postcard in April – Board to review language

                                ii.    Spring Newsletter planned for June – Board to draft in coming months.

d.    2023 Social Activities/Calendar

                                 i.    Board reviewing options to better communicate upcoming events with community via a calendar (Either on MyHOA or alternative site)

                                ii.    Discussed potential events including: Halloween & Christmas decorations, National Night Out (august), International Picnic (2nd Annual), Garage Sale, Movie Night, Etc.
