Section 1. Name and Purpose. The name of the corporation is Foxwood Homeowners' Association, hereinafter referred to as the ''Association''. The Association shall be a nonprofit corporation for formed under the provisions of RCW 24.03.  The Association shall be subject to the Washington HOA Act (RCW 64.38) as a pre-existing Association created prior to July 1, 2018 and as such shall not be subject to the Washington Common Interest Ownership Act (WUCIOA) (RCW 64.90).

 

Section 2. Non-Discrimination Policy. Pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, the Association recruits volunteers, board members, and vendors and otherwise conducts the business of the Association without discrimination on the basis of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnic identity, religion or creed.

 

Section 3. Fiscal Year. The fiscal year of the Association shall begin on the first day of January and end on the 31st day of December of every year, except that the first fiscal year shall begin on the date of the incorporation.
